Melghat is a tribal belt with korku tribe living there from centuries.
Due to its geography and forrest area, many basic infrastructure is not present there like lights, communication methods, concrete roads, etc.
Slowly the picture is changing.
But the problem of malnutrition and child deaths due to communicable disease is very high in this region.
And this region is infact famous for its high child mortality and maternal mortality.
But due to this corrupt practises the development is going to reach there afetr centuries and till then many childrens and mothers will keep on dying likewise only.
This concern letter was given to senior officials and the actions are awaited still now.
Many points are covered in this letter to senior officials.
And till the actions are going to be taken, thousands of our tribal brothers are going to live there in the same adverse conditions.

A very serious action is needed to be taken from the government but all are same over there. It's not easy to raise voice and let it be heard by the people. I'm very happy to see this blog and the initiative you have taken against it. If you need any of my support I'm always there.

We are fighting against such situations in Melghat. This is good platform to share this issue. Not only about health, but all implementing agencies of Z.P.Amaravati are corrupted. Agriculture, education, watersupply, PWD, ICDS, are to be investigated rigourously. But, this is not much possible as all system is corrupted. we can act as a speed breaker in such illegal activities.
